This award-winning home, Maison Lumière, is located in the new urban marina of Tangier – Tanja Marina Bay. Winning the 5-star award for interior design in the African Property Awards (2020-2021) it will go on to compete for the title of “Best in the World”. This fabulous corner apartment started life as two separate apartments, one with a view to the coastline of Tangier and one with a view out to sea. UDesign gutted both apartments taking out the doors, walls and floors and completely redesigned and rebuilt them joining them together to create a sumptuous large living space.
The bright and spacious finished apartment has 3 bedrooms, two guest bedrooms and an extensive master bedroom that would rival any 5-star hotel suite. The decor is full of Moroccan references expressed in a very contemporary style. The art pictured on the right is made from images of the tops of Tagines, the bedroom lighting is a modern take on traditional Moroccan style, yet none of it is overpowering, Tom Dixon, Vibia and other international brand names also feature prominently in this eclectic apartment.
