In Villa Alkaana the indoor garden makes a splendid backdrop to the living area. Even though the villa has amazing views the interior garden allows you to enjoy the views both inside and out, in all directions. At night, when the light fades and the mountains and sea views begin to disappear, the illuminated garden comes into its own. No matter how hard we work as architects and designers, we cannot compete with nature itself. Nature is, almost by definition, a natural master of sculpture. The style and colours of the villa are very earthy, black stone, brown sofas, rugs, sections of the walls, but with sparkles of gold in the coffee table and chandelier, creating a lovely mix that is not flashy in any way.
