This villa is relatively small in comparison to most of our projects (360 m2 of interior built space), so the goal was to create a beautiful, private and comfortable outdoor space and a feeling of spaciousness in the interior. This was partly achieved by having a courtyard with a tree and water feature in the centre of the house, which brings in lots of natural light and creates a feeling of space. There is a luxury kitchen, a chefs kitchen hidden away and an outdoor barbecue area which flows straight out from the kitchen, with a continuity of materials in both areas. The windows surrounding the main living area slide away bringing the colour and beauty of the garden into the inside. Not everyone has the luxury of an amazing view and this garden shows how important good landscaping is, transforming the look and feel of a home.
